With an all-out effort, AFK Petržalka's Cipriano Lorien threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nikola Krstović, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cipriano Lorien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sasho Amiorkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nikola Krstović struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. In the 52nd minute, Sasho Amiorkov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFK Petržalka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.
