Mateo Pietro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Recife in the 6th minute. Júlio Pena took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Pietro. Mateo Pietro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 11 minutes of play, Danone CC's Vladimir de Almeida made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Pietro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joachim Hornø might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateo Pietro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joachim Hornø ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Nestor Diegotxe got a free kick in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Dito Braga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Pietro. Rosario Central's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dito Braga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Florencio Chayo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Dinei de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Danone CC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinei de Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rosario Central's Mateo Pietro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Rosario Central from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute, Danone CC's Júlio Pena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mateo Pietro. Mateo Pietro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Vito in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otávio Massa saved Danone CC from getting behind. 39 minutes into the game, Júlio Pena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Mateo Pietro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mateo Pietro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Pena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Danone CC's Vladimir de Almeida ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mateo Pietro. Mateo Pietro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 9-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 9-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felipe Gilesindo made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Vladimir de Almeida cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Mateo Pietro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 56 minutes into the game, Danone CC's Clemente Recife nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateo Pietro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. Mateo Pietro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Hornø, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Vladimir de Almeida made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Pietro. Rosario Central's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. After some careless play in the Rosario Central defense, Mario Balotelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Pietro. The Rosario Central fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Pietro should have stopped the shot. Danone CC made a substitution. Gustavo Alvarenga replaced Clemente Recife. Júlio Pena scored 15-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Pietro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute Júlio Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Pietro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustaquio Toli's late challenge caught a Danone CC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustaquio Toli helped the player get up and apologised. Mateo Pietro came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Danone CC's Júlio Pena. But to his dismay, Júlio Pena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 16-0. After 85 minutes of play, Danone CC's Júlio Pena made it 17-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Pietro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateo Pietro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Alvarenga in the 88th minute of the match. Mateo Pietro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Júlio Pena spun around in front of the goal 90 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Rosario Central's goal. Mateo Pietro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dito Braga in the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Zézinho Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 18-0. Mateo Pietro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Danone CC were the better team. Danone CC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
