In the 36th minute, Cândido Fagundes made a precise shot to the right of Enrique Garikoitz. &La vieja Guardia&'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. &La vieja Guardia&'s Enrique Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Leite in the 41st minute of play. Amado Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Enrique Garikoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cândido Fagundes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Garikoitz having to interfere. &La vieja Guardia&'s Enrique Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Homero Brochado in the 65th minute of play. If Godfredo Hever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. &La vieja Guardia&'s Enrique Garikoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save &La vieja Guardia& from getting a goal against them. Alexandre Infante charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandre Infante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Stars Academy got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Infante. Norberto Lluc kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Matias Diegotxe was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, &La vieja Guardia&'s Matias Diegotxe got a free kick in the 76th minute. Stars Academy's Alexandre Infante got his second yellow card of the match in the 78th minute. The referee ordered Alexandre Infante off the ground. In the 78th minute, Alexandre Infante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute of the match Norberto Lluc sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Almiro Benevides skillfully saved the ball. Enrique Garikoitz came out of the goal and Celso Estrada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Celso Estrada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
