Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Danone CC's Vladimir de Almeida started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enrique Garikoitz came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Danone CC's Vladimir de Almeida. But to his dismay, Vladimir de Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Hever came free, but Otávio Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Garikoitz came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Danone CC's Dito Braga. But to his dismay, Dito Braga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When &La vieja Guardia&'s Godfredo Hever in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Danone CC's goalie prevented a goal. After 19 minutes, Tião Esteves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Danone CC and the &La vieja Guardia& players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tião Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Hever in the 21st minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Otávio Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. &La vieja Guardia&'s Enrique Garikoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save &La vieja Guardia& from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, Godfredo Hever had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Otávio Massa. Danone CC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godfredo Hever was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Danone CC's Júlio Pena got a free kick in the 27th minute. Otávio Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Lluc, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Vladimir de Almeida scored 4-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Garikoitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Godfredo Hever stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to &La vieja Guardia& getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ildefonso Gaizko hit a great ball. Otávio Massa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godfredo Hever in the 54th minute. Danone CC's Vladimir de Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Clemente Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Garikoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir de Almeida in the 67th minute of the match. After 69 minutes of play, Danone CC's Vladimir de Almeida made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Garikoitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! &La vieja Guardia&'s Enrique Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Recife in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of &La vieja Guardia& booed when Danone CC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Garikoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir de Almeida in the 79th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Feliberto Leheren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the &La vieja Guardia& and the Danone CC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Feliberto Leheren kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The Danone CC fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Danone CC's Vladimir de Almeida looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Godfredo Hever kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Otávio Massa. That made the score 6-3 in the 90 minute of play. &La vieja Guardia&'s Enrique Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Balotelli in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Danone CC had played much better football throughout.
