Mateo Pietro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Modesto Leheren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Mateo Pietro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Pietro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Modesto Leheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Pietro having to interfere. Conrado Ritchie in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mateo Pietro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 46th minute, Modesto Leheren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 54th match minute, Rosario Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Rico to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the game, Modesto Leheren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Mateo Pietro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Che in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Pietro saved Rosario Central from getting behind. Modesto Leheren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Pietro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Che in the 71st minute of the match. Nicolas Che took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Pietro. Mateo Pietro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 80 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Che came free, but Mateo Pietro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central's Ovidio Haimar got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Modesto Leheren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Pietro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Che, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Florencio Chayo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN. Conrado Ritchie stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mateo Pietro. 8-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MARIANO MORENO DE JUNÍN fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rosario Central had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
