After a rather tough play, Danone CC's Hermínio Lopez got a free kick in the 11th minute. David Cucao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Balotelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Loren came free, but Otávio Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danone CC's Otávio Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Loren in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute Mario Balotelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otávio Massa made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Teodosio Corderun sent off a good shot on target. Teodosio Corderun struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Otávio Massa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tetes Titans. In the 44th minute of the match, Gustavo Loren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Otávio Massa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Otávio Massa came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Tetes Titans's Maximiliano Ermano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Ermano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Otávio Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Ermano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otávio Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Corderun in the 61st minute of the match. Enéas Ribeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. David Cucao came out and tried to block the shot, but Enéas Ribeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 63rd minute. Danone CC made a substitution. Dito Neto replaced Enéas Ribeiro. In the 68th minute, Hermínio Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute of the match Eulalio Inocente sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Otávio Massa skillfully saved the ball. In the 70th minute, Dito Neto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Cucao. The goal made the score 2-3. 86 minutes into the match, Tetes Titans's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Pena came free, but David Cucao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Cucao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Balotelli in the 90th minute. Tetes Titans's David Cucao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Balotelli in the 93rd minute of play. In the 97th match minute, Tetes Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Ederono to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Tetes Titans getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Ildefonso Ederono hit a great ball. When Clemente Recife came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Danone CC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Recife couldn't finish the play. Chants of Danone CC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Tetes Titans had held the ball for most of the match.
