Zein Tutupoli came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg. But to his dismay, Bernt Kihlberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, Bernt Kihlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zein Tutupoli. Gaviotas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernt Kihlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 19th minute Bernt Kihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zein Tutupoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernt Kihlberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zein Tutupoli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernt Kihlberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Zein Tutupoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Kihlberg in the 23rd minute of the match. After 28 minutes Mantorp's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ermegildo Benitez who took care of the corner kick. Gaviotas FC's Arnoldo Pueblo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sven-Olof Gummeson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Gaviotas FC's zone, Aaron Lundqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zein Tutupoli came out of the goal and Aaron Lundqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Nardo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mantorp's Billy Fågel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 34 minutes into the match, Mantorp's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Henry came free, but Sven-Olof Gummeson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Gaviotas FC were awarded a corner. Bernt Kihlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernan Herauso to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Bernt Kihlberg made a precise shot to the right of Zein Tutupoli. Gaviotas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernan Herauso in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Olof Gummeson saved Mantorp from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Pueblo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven-Olof Gummeson was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Sven-Olof Gummeson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Herauso in the 64th minute of play. Aaron Lundqvist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zein Tutupoli firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 67th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Ariel Lihach replaced Arnoldo Pueblo. Gaviotas FC's Armando Azubeli was substituted for Eleuterio Nardo. Sven-Olof Gummeson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Herauso in the 75th minute of the match. Mantorp's Sven-Edvin Henriksson was substituted for Aaron Lundqvist. Zein Tutupoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Henriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Niceto Galtero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Sven-Olof Gummeson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Gummeson having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Bernt Kihlberg made a precise shot to the right of Zein Tutupoli. Gaviotas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. The Mantorp players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
