In the 4thth minute of the game Rafael Domeka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaviotas FC's Zein Tutupoli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaviotas FC's Ariel Henry managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Wellington de Andrade in the 6 minute of the game. The Gaviotas FC fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Gaviotas FC's Fernan Herauso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gaviotas FC's Zein Tutupoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Ted in the 17th minute of play. With his leg Romeo Dominic managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Gaviotas FC's Fernan Herauso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Romeo Dominic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernan Herauso in the 22nd minute. Fernan Herauso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romeo Dominic having to make a save. Fernan Herauso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Romeo Dominic made a huge save. Zein Tutupoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Mel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Mel in the 43rd minute of play forced Gaviotas FC's goalkeeper Zein Tutupoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Domeka scored 2-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zein Tutupoli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Domeka was the one to do the kick off. In the last second Zein Tutupoli throw himself and got hold of the ball when Romeo Mel in the 51stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romeo Mel in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zein Tutupoli saved Gaviotas FC from getting behind. SOUTH AFRICA's Romeo Dominic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Herauso in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Gaviotas FC's Fernan Herauso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeo Dominic narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Herauso in the 59th minute of play forced SOUTH AFRICA's goalkeeper Romeo Dominic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Fernan Herauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaviotas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernan Herauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute Artemio Jokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zein Tutupoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, SOUTH AFRICA's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Herauso came free, but Romeo Dominic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
