In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jörlanda's goalkeeper Renaldo Segarra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ömer Pozan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthias Holmgren went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Paulo Pinkhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Matthias Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jörlanda's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthias Holmgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ömer Pozan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Güroymak getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Yiğit Olgunay hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Holmgren in the 24th minute of play forced Güroymak's goalkeeper Ömer Pozan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Matthias Holmgren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After 44 played minutes Güroymak got a freekick which was hit by Reşat Sağlamer. 45 minutes into the game, Paulo Pinkhas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ömer Pozan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthias Holmgren in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ömer Pozan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Matthias Holmgren made the kick off in the second half. Ömer Pozan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Pinkhas in the 51st minute of play. Ali Ömer Tezer hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Matthias Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reşat Sağlamer during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Matthias Holmgren came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Jörlanda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthias Holmgren couldn't finish the play. After 78th play minutes Matthias Holmgren shot 0-8, a short shot which went by Ömer Pozan and just under the crossbar into goal. Matthias Holmgrens short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Ömer Pozan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
