Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Fidel Teofilio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fidel Teofilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Terasek, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute of the match 3City United got a corner. &La vieja Guardia&'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edelmiro Tartalo ran over to the corner to take the kick. 41 minutes into the match, &La vieja Guardia&'s Kang Han Zhen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernt Ånger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Miroslaw Buda made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by &La vieja Guardia&'s Alvaro Arotza. In the 46th minute, Kang Han Zhen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The &La vieja Guardia& fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When Alto Porro fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored &La vieja Guardia&'s protests and gave Alto Porro a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for &La vieja Guardia&! Fidel Teofilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Marczyniec in the 62nd minute of the match.
