A sloppy throw-in by Damian Musko in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Amazonas's Sotero Closa. In the 22nd minute Amazonas were awarded a corner. Ponce Lerena went to the cornerflag to take it. Ponce Lerena made a great header on Amazonas's corner, it was just that Gaviotas FC's Zein Tutupoli managed to reach the ball for a save. Leon Dytrych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Pueblo in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gaviotas FC's Ermegildo Benitez got a free kick in the 44th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernan Herauso made a kick off. A collision led to Amazonas getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Roderigo Candura hit a great ball. Fernan Herauso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Leon Dytrych made a huge save. Zein Tutupoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Carulla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Ernesto Unai put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zein Tutupoli. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Leon Eguzki replaced Eleuterio Nardo. Gaviotas FC's Ivan Mancio was substituted for Inocencio Patxi. Benvide Usarralde hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Fernan Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leon Dytrych made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernan Herauso in the 66th minute. In the 73rd match minute, Amazonas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmau Fidalgo to maneuver through the defense.
