Odysseas Giotos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Vennerdal having to interfere. 4 minutes into the match, Fondas Gitkos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Liverbird's Josef Vennerdal. Josef Vennerdal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Josef Vennerdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fondas Gitkos in the 7th minute of the match. Josef Vennerdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fondas Gitkos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Zinon Martinakos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josef Vennerdal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Josef Vennerdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odysseas Giotos, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Sotiris Tzanetakis hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Odysseas Giotos made a precise shot to the right of Josef Vennerdal. Liverbird's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Liverbird's Pontus Gustafsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Petros Chrisochoidis. That made the score 1-3 after 24 minutes of play. With a little luck, Vιrga FC's Petros Chrisochoidis got control of the ball when Pontus Gustafsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Vιrga FC's Fondas Gitkos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josef Vennerdal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Josef Vennerdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fondas Gitkos, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Josef Vennerdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odysseas Giotos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vιrga FC booed when Liverbird was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Lundhberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Viktoras Melopoulos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Josef Vennerdal skillfully saved the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Iosif Pappas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Josef Vennerdal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Odysseas Giotos was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Liverbird defense, Zinon Martinakos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Josef Vennerdal. The Liverbird fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Josef Vennerdal should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Odysseas Giotos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Josef Vennerdal, 1-7. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Pontus Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liverbird's supporters rose to their feet, but Pontus Gustafsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petros Chrisochoidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fondas Gitkos got free with Josef Vennerdal in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Vιrga FC's Zinon Martinakos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. Fondas Gitkos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-9 in the 72nd playminute. 77 minutes into the game, Zinon Papadimitriou recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Josef Vennerdal. Zinon Papadimitriou showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-10. Liverbird's Josef Vennerdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odysseas Giotos in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Liverbird was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Vιrga FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Viktoras Melopoulos hit a great ball. Liverbird's Josef Vennerdal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odysseas Giotos in the 87th minute of play. Iosif Pappas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Josef Vennerdal made a huge save. Pontus Gustafsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petros Chrisochoidis having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zinon Martinakos in the 91st minute of play forced Liverbird's goalkeeper Josef Vennerdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josef Vennerdal was a little too slow when Zinon Martinakos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-11. The Liverbird fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vιrga FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
