With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureo Solar in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucero Antunez saved Sa Savina AD from getting behind. With a little luck, Sa Savina AD's Lucero Antunez got control of the ball when Froylan Robira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute, Rubén Flores got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Nacional De Futbol's Joaquin Palmero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubén Flores in the 14th minute of play. Froylan Robira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Lucero Antunez made a huge save. Lucero Antunez made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Froylan Robira sent off a good shot on target. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureo Solar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Sa Savina AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xusto Briso to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute, Club Nacional De Futbol's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nereo Galnares fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Rubén Flores put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Palmero. In the 81st minute Aureo Solar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucero Antunez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sa Savina AD would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
