Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Matej Valentík took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miroslav Cupka to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Almiro Benevides successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 15 minutes in the game, Roland Záhoran fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Almiro Benevides having to interfere. Roland Záhoran was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Roland Záhoran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Almiro Benevides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Záhoran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Záhoran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almiro Benevides having to interfere. With a little luck, Stars Academy's Almiro Benevides got control of the ball when Matej Valentík tried to sneak it across the goal line. Almiro Benevides was a little too slow when Matej Valentík got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 30th minute, Roland Záhoran reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Almiro Benevides. The goal made the score 2-0. 34 minutes into the match, Stars Academy's goalkeeper Almiro Benevides had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matej Valentík. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Roland Záhoran got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 41st minute Roland Záhoran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almiro Benevides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Roland Záhoran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Almiro Benevides was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Leite was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes, AFK Petržalka's Roland Záhoran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Almiro Benevides came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFK Petržalka reached it. Almiro Benevides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matej Valentík in the 53rd minute of play. Zdeno Špaňo charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zdeno Špaňo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zdeno Špaňo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Celso Estrada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Norberd Valentík tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute Matej Valentík shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Almiro Benevides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFK Petržalka's Norberd Valentík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antero Rebocho in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Raul Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matej Valentík fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almiro Benevides having to interfere. If Homero Brochado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to AFK Petržalka getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Roland Záhoran hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Antero Rebocho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Norberd Valentík, 3-1. Lukáš Gernát fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almiro Benevides having to interfere. When Lukáš Gernát fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFK Petržalka's protests and gave Lukáš Gernát a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Lukáš Gernát. For all the effort they put into the match, the Stars Academy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AFK Petržalka.
