Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) DFP's Jerry Mattsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Matej Valentík took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Lilja. Eric Lilja dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 7th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matej Valentík to maneuver through the defense. Roland Záhoran took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eric Lilja. Eric Lilja dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Norberd Valentík showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerry Mattsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. DFP were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after AFK Petržalka's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aleksander Eliasson took the corner. Hans Wennerberg lost his temper 18 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 18 minutes into the game, one of DFP:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 23rd minute, Miroslav Cupka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, AFK Petržalka's Ivan Girman got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Matej Valentík made a precise shot to the right of Eric Lilja. DFP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When Ivan Girman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 37 minutes had been played. After 38 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Girman. Eric Lilja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Záhoran in the 41st minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Roland Záhoran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Lilja. DFP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roland Záhoran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Dušan Glenda kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Miroslav Cupka kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Juraj Poliovka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFK Petržalka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DFP the free kick. In the 60th minute Jerry Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberd Valentík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFK Petržalka's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aleksander Eliasson was slow to take the kick. During this time DFP's players had a chance to rest. The corner led DFP's Jerry Mattsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Norberd Valentík despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Norberd Valentík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Mattsson in the 63rd minute of play. Dušan Glenda hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Jerry Mattsson charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jerry Mattsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jerry Mattsson kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Elof Caspersson hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. AFK Petržalka made a substitution. Lukáš Gernát replaced Matej Valentík. Alex Lööf charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Lööf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jerry Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberd Valentík having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dušan Glenda during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th match minute, AFK Petržalka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dušan Glenda to maneuver through the defense. Roland Záhoran's late challenge caught a DFP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Záhoran helped the player get up and apologised. Roland Záhoran hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Dušan Glenda kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Jerry Mattsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93rd play minutes Lukáš Gernát shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Eric Lilja and just under the crossbar into goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AFK Petržalka walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
