Nereo Ibarguen hit a great ball. Ariano Saldías's late challenge caught a Altermundi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ariano Saldías helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Ariano Saldías. Romildo Scheid hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Ricart Peñailillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Pedro Tomás Domimisse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Romildo Scheid fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altermundi FC's protests and gave Romildo Scheid a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Altermundi FC's Romildo Scheid got a free kick in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edelmiro Villar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jose Alegría hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Francisco José Maeztu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Tomás Domimisse having to interfere. Jose Ferrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Ibáñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Ferrel came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Altermundi FC's Aureliano Fariña. But to his dismay, Aureliano Fariña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0.
