Ceandro Zumaeta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Capo de Provincia's Ceandro Zumaeta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Capo de Provincia from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Baez FC's zone, Arnaldo Schiller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurilio Mendoza came out of the goal and Arnaldo Schiller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ceandro Zumaeta was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antonio Cumplido showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 26 minute of play. Uriel Alarcón charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uriel Alarcón the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Uriel Alarcón kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 32 played minutes Capo de Provincia got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Alarcón. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Couve in the 36th minute of play forced Capo de Provincia's goalkeeper Ceandro Zumaeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurilio Mendoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Schiller in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Adriano Couve made a precise shot to the right of Ceandro Zumaeta. Capo de Provincia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Baez FC's Maurilio Mendoza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Schiller in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Baez FC booed when Capo de Provincia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymundo Monroy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Schiller made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Baez FC's Barni Didier got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 55th match minute, Baez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Jose Mac Kenzie to maneuver through the defense. Capo de Provincia's Mark González shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 56th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Maurilio Mendoza but with some difficulty. Ceandro Zumaeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelado Iriarte in the 67th minute of the match. Raymundo Monroy charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raymundo Monroy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Barni Didier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ceandro Zumaeta. Capo de Provincia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ceandro Zumaeta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Couve, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Jon-Ander Bazaes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Ceandro Zumaeta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 79 played minutes Capo de Provincia got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Alarcón. 96 minutes into the match, Karlos Fevre notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Capo de Provincia's Ceandro Zumaeta. Ceandro Zumaeta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baez FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
