Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Inter de Chillán's Juan Luis Alfaro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Inter de Chillán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barni San Martín to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute, Adam Badiola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Javier Carreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Badiola took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elton Tin. U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 10 minutes, Bartolomé Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U. de Tarapacá and the Inter de Chillán players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Inter de Chillán booed when U. de Tarapacá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolomé Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Adam Badiola came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Inter de Chillán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Badiola couldn't finish the play. After 13 played minutes U. de Tarapacá got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Gustavo Lantaño. Candido Hoefler was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. Elton Tin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bairon Bernales in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Pedro Labra during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Blanco Paris was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inter de Chillán's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Blanco Paris was slow to take the kick. During this time U. de Tarapacá's players had a chance to rest. 24 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's goal looked a bit too open when Blanco Paris came free, but Basilio Dragicevic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miren Guilisasti in the 25th minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Basilio Dragicevic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When U. de Tarapacá's Carlos Gustavo Lantaño in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Inter de Chillán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U. de Tarapacá the free kick. If Miren Guilisasti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blanco Paris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Basilio Dragicevic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Blanco Paris notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Inter de Chillán's Basilio Dragicevic. Basilio Dragicevic was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blanco Paris to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Inter de Chillán's Barni San Martín got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Blanco Paris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U. de Tarapacá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blanco Paris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, U. de Tarapacá's Elvis Nieto got a free kick in the 58th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miren Guilisasti couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute Bartolomé Romero suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of U. de Tarapacá booed when Inter de Chillán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Brotfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Javier Carreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basilio Dragicevic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blanco Paris's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. If Francisco Lacunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Blanco Paris reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Basilio Dragicevic. The goal made the score 0-2. The supporters of U. de Tarapacá booed when Inter de Chillán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Badiola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basilio Dragicevic made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Quentín Alonso sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Lacunza took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elton Tin. Elton Tin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. U. de Tarapacá had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
