The U. de Tarapacá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 36 minutes into the game, Emanuel Pozo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U. de Tarapacá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.F. Leftraro the free kick. A collision led to U. de Tarapacá getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Emanuel Pozo hit a great ball. Blanco Paris might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demetrio Amesti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blanco Paris ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Tomás Berau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demetrio Amesti having to make a save. Emanuel Pozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

José Francisco Ross struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Mariano Talledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.F. Leftraro. Emanuel Pozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Demetrio Amesti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, C.F. Leftraro's goal looked a bit too open when Blanco Paris came free, but Demetrio Amesti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Blanco Paris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 80th match minute, U. de Tarapacá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Carreto to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Del Real in the 82nd minute of play forced U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Mariano Talledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Céspedes hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Tomás Berau in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demetrio Amesti saved C.F. Leftraro from getting behind.
