In the 4th match minute, Baez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon-Ander Bazaes to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Sebastian Piñera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurilio Mendoza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Antonio Cumplido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jhonny Herrera. Snorlax FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Cumplido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Snorlax FC booed when Baez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristeo Vodanovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Sebastian Piñera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Snorlax FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Piñera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurilio Mendoza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jhonny Herrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelado Iriarte in the 26th minute. Maurilio Mendoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Piñera in the 31st minute of play. Snorlax FC's Vincente Felice got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. César Balladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Snorlax FC's Adalberto Tullet seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adalberto Tullet the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Snorlax FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adalberto Tullet had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 48th match minute, Snorlax FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adalberto Tullet to maneuver through the defense. Baez FC's Barni Didier got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 58 played minutes Baez FC got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Ander Bazaes. The supporters of Baez FC booed when Snorlax FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Balladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jhonny Herrera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Cumplido's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Maurilio Mendoza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Piñera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Vincente Felice recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maurilio Mendoza. Vincente Felice showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 83 minutes into the game, César Balladares lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Maurilio Mendoza. In the 91st minute, Leandro Valenzuela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by César Balladares. Snorlax FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
