Adam Badiola didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 played minutes C.F. Leftraro got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Millape. Ramón Millape kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Paulo Brotfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demetrio Amesti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Dragicevic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Francisco Ross in the 28th minute of the match. When Bairon Andonaegui came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the C.F. Leftraro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bairon Andonaegui couldn't finish the play. Juan Luis Alfaro scored 2-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demetrio Amesti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Juan Luis Alfaro made the kick off in the second half. Ramón Millape's late challenge caught a Inter de Chillán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramón Millape helped the player get up and apologised. The long shot by Adam Badiola in the 51st minute really tested Demetrio Amesti's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Basilio Dragicevic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bairon Andonaegui in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Lacunza in the 56th minute of play forced C.F. Leftraro's goalkeeper Demetrio Amesti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, C.F. Leftraro's Demetrio Amesti got control of the ball when Francisco Lacunza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Igor Del Real kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Basilio Dragicevic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Francisco Ross in the 65th minute of play. C.F. Leftraro's Demetrio Amesti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Lacunza in the 68th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Francisco Lacunza took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Demetrio Amesti to make any attempt to save it. Inter de Chillán's Basilio Dragicevic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Neil in the 71st minute of play. C.F. Leftraro's Igor Del Real got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, C.F. Leftraro's goalkeeper Demetrio Amesti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Lacunza. After 78 played minutes C.F. Leftraro got a freekick which was hit by Demesio Moroni. In the 78th minute, Adam Badiola sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and C.F. Leftraro's Demetrio Amesti didn't even have to move. When Adam Badiola came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Inter de Chillán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Badiola couldn't finish the play. After 81 played minutes C.F. Leftraro got a freekick which was hit by Demesio Moroni. Basilio Dragicevic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Del Real, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Paulo Brotfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Lacunza got free with Demetrio Amesti in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The C.F. Leftraro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Inter de Chillán were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
