The supporters of Inter de Chillán booed when Snorlax FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincente Felice didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Luis Alfaros short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Jhonny Herrera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 6 minutes, Paulo Brotfeld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de Chillán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Brotfeld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Vincente Felice was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Snorlax FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Chillán the free kick. Vincente Felice hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 9 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Alonso Andolcetti. Quintén Jorquera kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Sebastian Piñera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basilio Dragicevic having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, Juan Luis Alfaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jhonny Herrera. Snorlax FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Luis Alfaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 20 minutes Inter de Chillán's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonides Mas who took care of the corner kick. Snorlax FC's Leonides Mas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Basilio Dragicevic in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jhonny Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Luis Alfaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Snorlax FC's César Balladares got a free kick in the 35th minute. Basilio Dragicevic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Piñera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Jhonny Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Brotfeld in the 52nd minute of play. Basilio Dragicevic was a little too slow when Vincente Felice got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Brotfeld in the 60th minute of play forced Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Jhonny Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Juan Luis Alfaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jhonny Herrera. Snorlax FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Luis Alfaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 65 played minutes Inter de Chillán got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Soto. With a little luck, Inter de Chillán's Basilio Dragicevic got control of the ball when Vincente Felice tried to sneak it across the goal line. Basilio Dragicevic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Piñera, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Inter de Chillán's Francisco Lacunza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jhonny Herrera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Paulo Brotfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jhonny Herrera having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Leonides Mas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Inter de Chillán's Basilio Dragicevic didn't even have to move. Selmo Rast hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes, Inter de Chillán's Barni San Martín shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jhonny Herrera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inter de Chillán reached it. César Balladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vincente Felice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Basilio Dragicevic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, César Balladares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Snorlax FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Chillán the free kick. A collision led to Snorlax FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. César Balladares hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Inter de Chillán fans cheered their team off the field, for while Snorlax FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
