In the 10th minute, Fulco Spöerer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Vincente Felice's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidro Camara was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vincente Felice in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidro Camara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jhonny Herrera was a little too slow when Brian Izaga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 29th minute Vincente Felice shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Camara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Camara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincente Felice in the 31st minute of play. Isidro Camara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vincente Felice's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Snorlax FC booed when Magallanes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Formoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonides Mas, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brian Izaga made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Magallanes's Emilio Formoso got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Isidro Camara made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Leonides Mas sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Snorlax FC's César Balladares got a free kick in the 61st minute. Magallanes's Herminio Quintero was substituted for Samuel Pacull. Magallanes's Baldomero Gamboa was substituted for Romeo Morel. After 63 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by César Balladares. With a little luck, Magallanes's Isidro Camara got control of the ball when Vincente Felice tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a left leg Isidro Camara saved Magallanes from getting behind. Eliel Hernández's late challenge caught a Magallanes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliel Hernández helped the player get up and apologised. Magallanes's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
