Maurilio Mendoza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliazar Evar, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 0-1 became the score in the 25th minute when Antonio Cumplido elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Baez FC's goalkeeper Maurilio Mendoza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliazar Evar. Ceandro Zumaeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Couve in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Antonio Cumplido made a precise shot to the right of Ceandro Zumaeta. Capo de Provincia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to Capo de Provincia getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Eliazar Evar hit a great ball. Casimiro Camus hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After the first half Baez FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antonio Cumplido made a kick off. Capo de Provincia's Mark González suffered a sore thigh after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Martino Goyenechea fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baez FC's protests and gave Martino Goyenechea a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Adriano Couve took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Ceandro Zumaeta to make any attempt to save it. In the 66th minute, Eliazar Evar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurilio Mendoza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Casimiro Camus hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Baez FC's Antonio Cumplido slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ceandro Zumaeta. That made the score 1-5 after 76 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Cumplido got free with Ceandro Zumaeta in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st play minute Antonio Cumplido came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ceandro Zumaeta. 1-6. 96 minutes into the match, Barni Didier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ceandro Zumaeta, 1-7.
