After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Matorrales's zone, Rene Aires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Loco came out of the goal and Rene Aires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rene Aires did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Leonardo Loco 13 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Rene Aires dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leonardo Loco, 3-0. Leonardo Loco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Aires in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Atlético Matorrales's Tadeo Quilino got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 32 minutes of play, Loco De Remate's Rene Aires made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Loco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Aires came free, but Leonardo Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Atlético Matorrales defense, Rene Aires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Loco. The Atlético Matorrales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Loco should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeo Quilino was the one to do the kick off. Rene Aires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Loco having to interfere. Loco De Remate's Roberto Mouzo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jeremias Hitz in the 52 minute of the game. When Loco De Remate's Rene Aires in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
