Cachila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Albertson to maneuver through the defense. Fermin Dolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gustavo Hartz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Yalapa's Fermin Dolfo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Hartz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Terri Moco made a precise shot to the right of Basri İhtiyar. Yalapa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Basri İhtiyar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terri Moco in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A.A. Cachila made a substitution. Seymour Skinner replaced Roberto Lapurdi. The wind increased when Fermin Dolfo made the kick off in the second half. Terri Moco ran back to his position shaking his head. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Yalapa from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Basri İhtiyar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gustavo Hartz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Dolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Yalapa from getting a goal against them. Cachila got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Brun. 91 minutes into the game, A.A. Cachila's Rodrigo Astudillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basri İhtiyar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Higinio Brun kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched A.A. Cachila eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
