The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito got control of the ball when Valentin Pacifico tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Arturo Ascencio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristobal Goito was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 16 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Black Sky FC's Arturo Ascencio fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 27th minute, Hauk Hareide ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Txema was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Iyan in the 31st minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Cristobal Goito throw himself and got hold of the ball when Teofilo Iyan in the 31stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Felix Txema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hauk Hareide in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Carabata Groove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frasco Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes, Black Sky FC's Teofilo Iyan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristobal Goito came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Black Sky FC reached it. The audience was convinced that Hauk Hareide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Txema was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Arturo Ascencio hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Black Sky FC's Ruperto Goizeder got a free kick in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Carabata Groove's Alberto-Federico Acosta was substituted for Hauk Hareide. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nemesio Opilano was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Andreas Möller kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felix Txema. That made the score 2-2 in the 54 minute of play. Frasco Ferreira hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The referee showed Valentin Pacifico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Black Sky FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Teofilo Iyan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristobal Goito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Teofilo Iyan made a precise shot to the right of Cristobal Goito. Carabata Groove's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Cristobal Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Iyan in the 89th minute of the match. The supporters of Carabata Groove booed when Black Sky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Barco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Black Sky FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Carabata Groove for a fine match.
