In the 4th minute, Carabata Groove's Hauk Hareide ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonardo Loco. Leonardo Loco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The throw-in from Rosendo Montel in the 11th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Carabata Groove's Adolfo Dolcet. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Matorrales's zone, Hauk Hareide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Loco came out of the goal and Hauk Hareide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hauk Hareide in the 14th minute of play forced Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Leonardo Loco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Leonardo Loco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hauk Hareide. Hauk Hareide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Loco having to make a save. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Leonardo Loco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rosendo Montel made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ambrosio Damario however managed to control. Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Leocadio in the 23rd minute of play. Leonardo Loco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hauk Hareide showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. A collision led to Atlético Matorrales getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rosendo Montel hit a great ball. Leonardo Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hauk Hareide, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Hauk Hareide received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonardo Loco came out and tried to block the shot, but Hauk Hareide slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 37th minute. Leonardo Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Bazkoare, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Hauk Hareide recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonardo Loco. Hauk Hareide showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Carabata Groove made a substitution. Eduardo Domeka replaced Hermengildo Bazkoare. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alberto-Federico Acosta made the kick off in the second half. Carabata Groove's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gustaw Ludzia in the 57th minute. Carabata Groove's Gustaw Ludzia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leonardo Loco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 60 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto-Federico Acosta came free, but Leonardo Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Alberto-Federico Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Toninho Santos threw the ball into play from the sideline. Atlético Matorrales's Anastasio Caton quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 73rd minute, Alberto-Federico Acosta made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Loco. Atlético Matorrales's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. The corner led to Carabata Groove's Toninho Santos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some careless play in the Atlético Matorrales defense, Alberto-Federico Acosta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Loco. The Atlético Matorrales fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Loco should have stopped the shot. Alberto-Federico Acosta took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Loco. Leonardo Loco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Domeka in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Domeka came free, but Leonardo Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carabata Groove were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Atlético Matorrales's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gustaw Ludzia took the corner. Gustaw Ludzia made a great header on Carabata Groove's corner, it was just that Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco managed to reach the ball for a save. Leonardo Loco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto-Federico Acosta in the 96th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto-Federico Acosta came free, but Leonardo Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
