In the 5th minute, Norberto Cabanela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, RÚSTICOS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto-Federico Acosta came free, but Omar Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Eduardo Domeka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carabata Groove's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Domeka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Cristofol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. RÚSTICOS F.C's Omar Cristofol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Domeka in the 15th minute of play. Cristobal Goito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denis Eudoxio went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. RÚSTICOS F.C's Denis Eudoxio got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto-Federico Acosta in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Cristofol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristobal Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Eudoxio in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of Carabata Groove booed when RÚSTICOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Eztebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Gustaw Ludzia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute Eduardo Domeka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Carabata Groove's Armin Atroce was substituted for Eduardo Domeka. Carabata Groove's Hauk Hareide was substituted for Andreas Möller. Carabata Groove's Herbert Pilipiec was substituted for Alberto-Federico Acosta. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Eudoxio to strike the kick off in the second half. RÚSTICOS F.C's Omar Cristofol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hauk Hareide in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Hauk Hareide ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Cristofol was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 62 played minutes RÚSTICOS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Nuno. Gustaw Ludzia, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Aaron Nuno hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Gustaw Ludzia managed to trick RÚSTICOS F.C's defense and made a shot which however Omar Cristofol didn't slip through. A nice save in the 67thth minute. The long shot by Gustaw Ludzia in the 67th minute really tested Omar Cristofol's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gustaw Ludzia got in the 67th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Omar Cristofol. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-3. A collision led to Carabata Groove getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Herbert Pilipiec hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Hauk Hareide left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carabata Groove fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. RÚSTICOS F.C's Omar Cristofol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save RÚSTICOS F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute Hauk Hareide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Carabata Groove's Hauk Hareide dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. In the 96th minute Hauk Hareide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carabata Groove's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
