The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Teofilo Iyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carabata Groove's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teofilo Iyan was slow to take the kick. During this time Black Sky FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Black Sky FC's Valentín Barco to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristobal Goito despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zachary Bielenda kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Ascencio in the 12th minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute, Ruperto Goizeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristobal Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Iyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Hauk Hareide might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Txema. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hauk Hareide ran back to his position shaking his head. Felix Txema made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Hauk Hareide sent off a good shot on target. Cristobal Goito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Pacifico, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Black Sky FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teofilo Iyan in the 31st minute. After taking down the ball on Black Sky FC's corner Teofilo Iyan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristobal Goito quite easily take care of the ball. Arturo Ascencio took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristobal Goito. Cristobal Goito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Carabata Groove's Cristobal Goito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Ascencio in the 36th minute of play. Cristobal Goito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Vonášek in the 39th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Carabata Groove's Hauk Hareide slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Felix Txema. That made the score 1-1 after 41 minutes of play. In the 45th match minute, Carabata Groove was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hauk Hareide to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruperto Goizeder during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carabata Groove's Nemesio Opilano was substituted for Hauk Hareide. Ruperto Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nemesio Opilano was the one to do the kick off. Carabata Groove's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gustaw Ludzia in the 57th minute. After 59 played minutes Carabata Groove got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Santos. Black Sky FC made a substitution. Candido Piearres replaced Ruperto Goizeder. After 60 played minutes Carabata Groove got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Santos. If Nemesio Opilano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Txema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Opilano in the 68th minute of play. Felix Txema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Opilano, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Pacifico in the 71st minute of play forced Carabata Groove's goalkeeper Cristobal Goito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Black Sky FC's Arturo Ascencio got a free kick in the 90th minute. Black Sky FC's Tiburcio Bibiano was substituted for Arturo Ascencio. Black Sky FC's Ansu Vieira was substituted for Valentin Pacifico. The supporters of Carabata Groove booed when Black Sky FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Ascencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustaw Ludzia might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Txema. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaw Ludzia ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the game, Ansu Vieira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cristobal Goito was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Carabata Groove supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Black Sky FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Black Sky FC.
