Nereo Raymon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Quilino's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Tadeo Quilino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Diego Leocadio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nereo Raymon. Papulote FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Leocadio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 27th minute, Ambrosio Damario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Tadeo Quilino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nereo Raymon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tadeo Quilino scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nereo Raymon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnoldo Gonzo to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Errolan in the 52nd minute of play forced Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Leonardo Loco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Anastasio Caton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Matorrales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anastasio Caton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Papulote FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ambrosio Damario fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Julio Oidor kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Atlético Matorrales's Tadeo Quilino was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Julio Oidor charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Oidor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Papulote FC's Julio Oidor got a free kick in the 77th minute. The supporters of Papulote FC booed when Atlético Matorrales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Leocadio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético Matorrales's Iker Tino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Papulote FC. Nereo Raymon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Nereo Raymon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Quilino in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Atlético Matorrales's Tadeo Quilino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Ambrosio Damario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Diego Leocadio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Matorrales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Leocadio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atlético Matorrales played a much better game than Papulote FC and deserved their victory. The Papulote FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
