The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes A.A. Cachila got a freekick which was hit by Jose Ubendu. Leonides Belarmo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnoldo Orlondon having to make a save. A collision led to A.A. Cachila getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Nicasio Ubarna hit a great ball. Arnoldo Orlondon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Belarmo in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of A.A. Cachila booed when Mazaredo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Muno didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.A. Cachila's Jose Ubendu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gavino Veremundo, made in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 24th match minute, Mazaredo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Asur to maneuver through the defense. A.A. Cachila's Leonides Belarmo got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Leonides Belarmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.A. Cachila's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Belarmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Orlondon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the game, Leonides Belarmo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Arnoldo Orlondon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 33 minutes into the match, A.A. Cachila's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Gilen came free, but Prudencio Estevon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Orlondon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonides Belarmo went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute, Erubiel Terciero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, A.A. Cachila's Tiburcio Cordarrel got a free kick in the 45th minute. Leonides Belarmo scored 0-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnoldo Orlondon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half A.A. Cachila were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Gilen to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Leonides Belarmo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.A. Cachila and the Mazaredo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes A.A. Cachila got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Belarmo. 60 minutes into the game, A.A. Cachila's Leonides Belarmo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnoldo Orlondon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Arnoldo Orlondon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Terciero in the 67th minute of the match. Bonifacio Muno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mazaredo AFC's Arnoldo Orlondon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Belarmo in the 80th minute of play. Arnoldo Orlondon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Terciero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonides Belarmo got free with Arnoldo Orlondon in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85thth minute of the game Leonides Belarmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mazaredo AFC's Arnoldo Orlondon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Mazaredo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Terciero came free, but Arnoldo Orlondon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to A.A. Cachila getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Nereo Eleder hit a great ball. The Mazaredo AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. A.A. Cachila were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
