Aaron Tello hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Eriberto Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renan Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulrico Herzog to make the kick off. Matanza and Steelers's Jimmy Örtendal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eriberto Queirós in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 76th minute, 沈竞伟 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 minutes, Ulrico Herzog made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Engenheiros da Vila's Eriberto Queirós tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Engenheiros da Vila defense, Leysus Oktavianus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eriberto Queirós. The Engenheiros da Vila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Queirós should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Örtendal in the 89th minute of play forced Engenheiros da Vila's goalkeeper Eriberto Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wiliam Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Engenheiros da Vila's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
