Ladislao Faro was out of position in the 11 minute of play, and Facundo Nahas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Facundo Nahas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Ladislao Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Astrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With his leg Ladislao Faro managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Club Atlético Escocia's Pascual Ado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pascual Ado to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Escocia's Pascual Ado got a free kick in the 54th minute. Ladislao Faro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But to his dismay, Filiberto Tolino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Club Atlético Escocia's Aurelio Resto was substituted for Lucas Quinto. In the 77th minute, Baldomero Inocente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmiro Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Rayman in the 81st minute of play. Ladislao Faro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ladislao Faro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Tartalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gloria Verdinegra AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
