After 34 played minutes Barrio Norte FC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Hugo Pinilla. Juan Jose Peacock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Anton Björnberg made a huge save. Osvaldo Frutos might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anton Björnberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldo Frutos ran back to his position shaking his head. Osvaldo Frutos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Anton Björnberg made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Frutos in the 46th minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Anton Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
