Cobresal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rage F.C. the free kick. A collision led to Cobresal getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Arneil Kurth hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, José Marcelo Arriaza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Haram in the 17th minute of play. Rage F.C.'s Zhuo Yu Yuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Scapini in the 20th minute of play. Zhuo Yu Yuan made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Gaitano Valdovinos sent off a good shot on target. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Haram, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Cobresal's Gregorio Quintero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zhuo Yu Yuan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 27th minute José Marcelo Arriaza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 minutes Cobresal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sixten Söderberg who took care of the corner kick. Sion Rage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Billy came free, but Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Jonas Haram shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Billy in the 42nd minute of play forced Cobresal's goalkeeper Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cobresal's Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Haram in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregorio Quintero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Marcelo Arriaza in the 51st minute of play forced Cobresal's goalkeeper Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Haram came free, but Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Marcelo Arriaza in the 55th minute of the match. Sion Rage hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 68 minutes of play, Rage F.C.'s Lucjan Mis made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cobresal's Renato Cesarini was substituted for Gaitano Valdovinos. In the 75th minute of the match Rage F.C. got a corner. Cobresal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sixten Söderberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Lucjan Mis came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Rage F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucjan Mis couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucjan Mis in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea saved Cobresal from getting behind. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucjan Mis's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute Renato Cesarini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuo Yu Yuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cobresal booed when Rage F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sion Rage didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Renato Cesarini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Zhuo Yu Yuan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
