ColSan2301's Aquiles Ekaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathan de Haan in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Tigre's goalkeeper Vicente Eyague had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Xande. The audience was convinced that Jorge Cachorro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquiles Ekaitz was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Tigre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Geofredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tigre eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
