In the 4th minute of the match, Yavuzalp Mesut tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benjamin Cuss saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 5 minutes Goo Goo Dolls's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ali Vedat Seyhun who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ali Vedat Seyhun almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Goo Goo Dolls's Benjamin Cuss did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Feyzullay Evirgen managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Last Airbender's supporters rose to their feet, but Feyzullay Evirgen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Cuss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute Cacá Mangione shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şeray Rauf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Last Airbender's Şeray Rauf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Mangione in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dom Rusby in the 18th minute of play forced The Last Airbender's goalkeeper Şeray Rauf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, The Last Airbender's goal looked a bit too open when Dom Rusby came free, but Şeray Rauf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Cacá Mangione shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şeray Rauf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of The Last Airbender booed when Goo Goo Dolls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Rogalnikov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steve Boulding kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Yavuzalp Mesut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yavuzalp Mesut took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Cuss. Benjamin Cuss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Yavuzalp Mesut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, The Last Airbender's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Dragnea came free, but Şeray Rauf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Cuss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yavuzalp Mesut in the 44th minute of the match. Olimpiu Dragnea might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şeray Rauf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olimpiu Dragnea ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cacá Mangione made a kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Yavuzalp Mesut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Last Airbender's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goo Goo Dolls the free kick. Goo Goo Dolls's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gianluca Infante in the 53rd minute. Goo Goo Dolls's Gianluca Infante was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Şeray Rauf in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Şeray Rauf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Lane, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Yavuzalp Mesut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Last Airbender's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yavuzalp Mesut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Şeray Rauf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olimpiu Dragnea in the 60th minute. Benjamin Cuss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yavuzalp Mesut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 63 minutes, Felix Lane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goo Goo Dolls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Lane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, The Last Airbender's goalkeeper Şeray Rauf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kenny Anson. Teddy Ball charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teddy Ball the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Goo Goo Dolls:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Last Airbender:s goal. With a little luck, The Last Airbender's Şeray Rauf got control of the ball when Olimpiu Dragnea tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Lane in the 76th minute of play forced The Last Airbender's goalkeeper Şeray Rauf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Cuss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömür Himmet, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A collision led to Goo Goo Dolls getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rogelio Rogalnikov hit a great ball. Rogelio Rogalnikov hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Yavuzalp Mesut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Cuss having to interfere. Cacá Mangione took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Şeray Rauf. Şeray Rauf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The Last Airbender were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Goo Goo Dolls for a fine match.
