The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Carrillos in the 7th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Victoria Mlawa's zone, Eusebio Hori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kryspin Dembkowski came out of the goal and Eusebio Hori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walter Van Mechelen in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Ekhi saved Ricart Futebol Clube from getting behind. A collision led to Ricart Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Vlad Geamănu hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Eusebio Hori's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kryspin Dembkowski was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Kryspin Dembkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Hori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Alberto Secco hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Kryspin Dembkowski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eusebio Hori showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Andrew Carrillos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Andres Ekhi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 31 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Carrillos came free, but Andres Ekhi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Andrew Carrillos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andres Ekhi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Kryspin Dembkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Hori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kryspin Dembkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Hori, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Victoria Mlawa booed when Ricart Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovânio Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricart Futebol Clube's Tales Gonçalves was substituted for Marcos Prado. After 48 played minutes Ricart Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio Gerber.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andrew Carrillos to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Hori in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kryspin Dembkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kryspin Dembkowski came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Ricart Futebol Clube's Eusebio Hori. But to his dismay, Eusebio Hori quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. If Geovânio Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victoria Mlawa's Kryspin Dembkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Hori in the 66th minute of play. If Eusebio Hori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho was substituted for Eusebio Hori. In the 70th minute Abel Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Dembkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrew Carrillos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute Abel Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Dembkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
