Durvalino Toscano hit a great ball. Adriano Panella took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Geovani Velloso. Noia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Silviu Miclea took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eriberto Queirós. Eriberto Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Engenheiros da Vila's Eriberto Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Miclea in the 16th minute of play. Geovani Velloso was a little too slow when Gernando Sarmento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-1. Norberto Villegas might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eriberto Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norberto Villegas ran back to his position shaking his head. 21 minutes into the match, Noia's Norberto Villegas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eriberto Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Norberto Villegas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eriberto Queirós. Engenheiros da Vila's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norberto Villegas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Silviu Miclea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Noia's supporters rose to their feet, but Silviu Miclea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 minutes of play, Noia's Norberto Villegas made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eriberto Queirós was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silviu Miclea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eriberto Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Silviu Miclea made the kick off in the second half. Eriberto Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silviu Miclea in the 51st minute of the match. Flávio Mineiro hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Geovani Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Villegas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Eriberto Queirós made a huge save. A collision led to Engenheiros da Vila getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tõnu Ojaste hit a great ball. Silviu Miclea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Eriberto Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Noia's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Jacinto came free, but Geovani Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Silviu Miclea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geovani Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Noia's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Fernandez came free, but Geovani Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Fernandez in the 77th minute of play forced Noia's goalkeeper Geovani Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silviu Miclea might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eriberto Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silviu Miclea ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Villegas got free with Eriberto Queirós in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 91 minutes Engenheiros da Vila's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Saverio Amor who took care of the corner kick. Noia's Saverio Amor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eriberto Queirós in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 92nd match minute, Engenheiros da Vila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flávio Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Norberto Villegas notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Engenheiros da Vila's Eriberto Queirós. Eriberto Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Noia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
