Durvalino Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Villegas in the 21st minute of play forced Juventudes Libertárias's goalkeeper Mauro Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Eliazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ademar Arruda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovani Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Almeida in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovani Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Falcão Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Agostinho Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovani Velloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilson Meirelles got free with Geovani Velloso in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Noia getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. José Paulo Miranda hit a great ball. In the 48th minute of the match Rubinho Loureiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Geovani Velloso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 49th minute Juventudes Libertárias were awarded a corner. Rubinho Loureiro went to the cornerflag to take it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silviu Miclea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mauro Eliazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silviu Miclea in the 54th minute of the match. Norberto Villegas came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mauro Eliazar could save by the left post. Noia's Geovani Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Almeida in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Noia's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Almeida came free, but Geovani Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauro Eliazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durvalino Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Silviu Miclea might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Eliazar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silviu Miclea ran back to his position shaking his head. Juventudes Libertárias made a substitution. Kauan Silveira replaced Gilson Meirelles. In the 79thth minute of the game Agostinho Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Noia's Geovani Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Durvalino Toscano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Eliazar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Kauan Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juventudes Libertárias's protests and gave Kauan Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Agostinho Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventudes Libertárias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agostinho Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 97 played minutes, Juventudes Libertárias's Rubinho Loureiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Geovani Velloso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juventudes Libertárias reached it. Noia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
