Eliseu Fonseca started the match with the kick off. Zé Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 6 minutes of play, Saiko FC's Eliseu Fonseca made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Betão de Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Saiko FC's Walmir Garcia got a free kick in the 9th minute. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Dorival Veloso hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, S.E. Cachoeirinha's Zé Recife got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Betão de Amaral made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Eliseu Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to S.E. Cachoeirinha getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nilmar do Valle hit a great ball. Zé Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josué Gonçalves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Betão de Amaral came out and tried to block the shot, but Josué Gonçalves slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 30th minute. After 36 played minutes S.E. Cachoeirinha got a freekick which was hit by Elias Vianna. The crowd rose to their feet as Saiko FC's Josué Gonçalves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Betão de Amaral. That made the score 3-0 after 37 minutes of play. When S.E. Cachoeirinha's Frederico Gomes in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saiko FC's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorival Veloso made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Eliseu Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saiko FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Zé Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Gomes in the 56th minute of play. Emanuel Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 played minutes, Saiko FC's Walmir Garcia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Betão de Amaral came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saiko FC reached it. The supporters of Saiko FC booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Josué Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão de Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, Saiko FC's Gabriel Bati made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Betão de Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute of the match Walmir Garcia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Betão de Amaral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, Gabriel Bati ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Betão de Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Betão de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Fonseca in the 93rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in S.E. Cachoeirinha's zone, Gabriel Bati stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão de Amaral came out of the goal and Gabriel Bati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saiko FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
