When Gildo Marques came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Dragões Barbudos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gildo Marques couldn't finish the play. The referee ignored Juventudes Libertárias's protests and gave Lúcio da Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. Lúcio da Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Babür Kongurtay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dragões Barbudos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babür Kongurtay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mauro Eliazar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Babür Kongurtay in the 88th minute. When the final whistle sounded Dragões Barbudos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Juventudes Libertárias.
