During the 95th minute of the match Zé Recife completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zé Recife a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Zé Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Rony Rüşti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Betão de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Leões do Sul 53 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than S.E. Cachoeirinha throughout the match.
