An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Sobis in the 29th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Christian Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bandelocos booed when CE LAJEADENSE RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Udo Nigula in the 42nd minute of play. If Bater Palma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Bandelocos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CE LAJEADENSE RS's performance. The match ended with a win for CE LAJEADENSE RS.
