After a defensive mix-up in Noia's zone, Eliseu Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovani Velloso came out of the goal and Eliseu Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the last second Geovani Velloso throw himself and got hold of the ball when Eliseu Fonseca in the 22ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 24 played minutes Noia got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Peres. If Eliseu Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Villegas in the 27th minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Eliseu Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match Saiko FC got a corner. Noia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Walmir Garcia ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Saiko FC's Wesley Lira to fire away a dangerous shot which Geovani Velloso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Zé Sabóia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silviu Miclea went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Zé Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silviu Miclea, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Silviu Miclea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Sabóia. Saiko FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silviu Miclea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Zé Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Villegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes Saiko FC got a freekick which was hit by Décio Dionísio. The wind increased when Silviu Miclea made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseu Fonseca in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovani Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silviu Miclea in the 56th minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Miclea in the 56th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Villegas. In the 67thth minute of the game Eliseu Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Noia's Geovani Velloso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zé Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Toscano in the 69th minute of the match. With a little luck, Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia got control of the ball when Albertinho Campidelis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Villegas got free with Zé Sabóia in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geovani Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Fonseca in the 76th minute of the match. Durvalino Toscano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Zé Sabóia made a huge save. Eliseu Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Geovani Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
