The corner led Matanza and Steelers's Jimmy Örtendal to fire away a dangerous shot which Olivier Dubs despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alexandre Xande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Renan Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Matanza and Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Tello. Aaron Tello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Olivier Dubs made a huge save. In the 21st minute Alexandre Xande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renan Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toninho Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulrico Herzog got free with Olivier Dubs in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Matanza and Steelers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 89th minute Ulrico Herzog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olivier Dubs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmy Örtendal in the 91st minute of play forced BEST FABIO F.C.'s goalkeeper Olivier Dubs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Jiang Liang Wei could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Renan Mendes however easily saved by the left post. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
