Pistolero Tricolor FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jimmy Örtendal ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Pistolero Tricolor FC's goalie and right to Gonza Victoria. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Pistolero Tricolor FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Matanza and Steelers's Jimmy Örtendal got a free kick in the 29th minute. Renan Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Bela, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After 33 minutes Matanza and Steelers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matthijs Light who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Pistolero Tricolor FC's Matthijs Light to fire away a dangerous shot which Renan Mendes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulrico Herzog made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Matanza and Steelers's Jimmy Örtendal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fang Bing Lei. That made the score 1-1 after 52 minutes of play. Fang Bing Lei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leysus Oktavianus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes, Fernandão Trigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pistolero Tricolor FC and the Matanza and Steelers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pistolero Tricolor FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Leysus Oktavianus came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Matanza and Steelers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leysus Oktavianus couldn't finish the play. Fang Bing Lei made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Wiliam Peixoto sent off a good shot on target. After 87 played minutes Pistolero Tricolor FC got a freekick which was hit by Mazinho Martins. Wiliam Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Fang Bing Lei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matanza and Steelers.
