An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandão Recife in the 7th minute of play forced Grêmio RK75's goalkeeper João Francisco Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Grêmio RK75's João Francisco Tinoco got control of the ball when Luisito Antequera tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Tronconi came free, but Ronaldo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montevideo's Ronaldo Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Lira in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilton Lira in the 13th minute of play forced Montevideo's goalkeeper Ronaldo Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Lira came free, but Ronaldo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Harold Tronconi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio RK75 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The supporters of Grêmio RK75 booed when Montevideo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Montevideo's goalkeeper Ronaldo Medeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael de Godoi to maneuver through the defense.
