The supporters of Grêmio Bulls booed when MONTANHA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Walec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrique Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Cardozo in the 16th minute of the match. Henrique Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, MONTANHA's goalkeeper Andres van der Sar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romulo Lehen. In the 20th minute, Wei Shu Gang made a precise shot to the right of Andres van der Sar. MONTANHA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Benedito Trancoso hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Lehen got free with Andres van der Sar in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Wei Shu Gang advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-0 in the 27th minute. MONTANHA's Andres van der Sar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save MONTANHA from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute of the match Grêmio Bulls got a corner. MONTANHA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastião Tróia ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 38th play minutes Romulo Lehen shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Andres van der Sar and just under the crossbar into goal. Afonso Cardozo took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrique Prata. Henrique Prata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Afonso Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Wei Guang Xing made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the match MONTANHA got a corner. Grêmio Bulls's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Afonso Cardozo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on MONTANHA's corner Afonso Cardozo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Henrique Prata quite easily take care of the ball. Rowen Doherty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andres van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Lehen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MONTANHA's Andres van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Lehen in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Ernesto Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio Bulls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernesto Falcão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When MONTANHA's Afonso Cardozo in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grêmio Bulls's goalie prevented a goal. Ernesto Falcão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Andres van der Sar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MONTANHA's Andres van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Falcão in the 95th minute of play. Grêmio Bulls walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
